Projects
Amisfield
Apollo provided the construction management and winery services design and delivery for this two level, gravity-fed Pinot Noir winery in Central Otago.
The winery utilises the latest processing technology and is designed to process 600 tonnes of fruit.

Babich Wines
Apollo Projects was engaged by Babich Wines to Design & Build the stunning Marlborough winery, which was completed in December 2013.
Designed to process approx. 6500 tonnes of fruit, the 4,000m2 building consists of a fully enclosed receival area and press bay, marc collection and marc pad, open red fermenters and bulk wine tank area.

Indevin Hawkes Bay
This project comprised the full design and turn-key delivery of a 4000 tonne greenfield winery in Hawke’s Bay.
The fully automated winery incorporates both red and white wine processing and utilises Kingspan insulated cladding product to create a thermally efficient
processing environment.

Poplar Grove
Poplar Grove hand picked Apollo after a world wide search for the most suitable and experienced winery design and construction specialist.
Apollo’s role on the winery was significant and included an active involvement in the projects feasibility and challenging the owners on the “real” project objectives after several design concepts were developed and proved far too costly.

Tantalus Winery
Tantalus Winery is a small boutique winery located in Kelowna, the main wine region of British Columbia. The project involved the part demolition of the existing facility, which the winery had outgrown, with a new purpose-built winery, barrel storage and cellar door being constructed by a local contractor.

Wairau River Wines
In August 2001 Apollo Projects was commissioned by Wairau River Wines to design and build a 1,600m2 winery with associated plant services in Rapaura Road, Marlborough, ready for the 2002 harvest. In the fourteen years following, we have completed eight successful projects together.

Wither Hills Winery
In 2009 Wither Hills Winery engaged Apollo Projects to manage all aspects of an on-going expansion programme.

Yealands Estate
The client brief for this 11,000 tonne greenfield winery was to create a world class facility in terms of efficiency and environmental design that has minimum impact on both the surrounding and national environment without compromising on functionality or aesthetics.

What our clients are saying.
This project has been completed in about a third of the time it normally takes to design, plan and build a major police station. It’s been an outstanding effort from everyone involved. This is a very different environment from the premises we’ve occupied in the past. It’s modern, spacious and high-tech – and having so many of our staff on one site is encouraging us all to work more collaboratively.
Apollo Projects were the most outstanding company to deal with. From the initial discussion to the completion of the project they were amazingly professional, very open, transparent and honest and prepared to go the extra yard to make sure all parties were fully informed. Not only that, we were finished a month early and under budget…
The design team Apollo assembled was first rate and contributed significantly to what has proven to be a first class facility. Apollo’s performance in managing this design process was also to a very high standard. Apollo certainly excels in the incorporation of buildability and construction input into the design process. This ensured that the majority of the design issues were clarified prior to the construction phase on site.
In all our dealings with Apollo they always acted with the upmost integrity and professionalism. From taking the project brief to consultation with all key stakeholders within our organisation Apollo certainly played a significant role in ensuring that the project was a complete success from every angle.
I am delighted to say that Apollo rose to the challenge and delivered a turnkey solution on time and within budget. They pulled out all the stops.
The professionalism that Apollo have shown throughout the Edendale Redline upgrade is to be commended. Their attention to detail ensured that the quality of workmanship from all trade staff involved met the food safety standards required as well as stepwise innovative improvement which met Fonterra’s strategy to be “The World’s most trusted source of dairy nutrition.” This project had a challenging time constraint window which Apollo managed extremely well, and now the site has one of the best redlines in the country.
