Apollo delivered a 7,500m² drystore design and build project on a greenfield site for Ports of Auckland Ltd, as part of the new Waikato Freight Hub at Horotiu near Hamilton.
The building comprises of a main drystore, two environmental loading areas, general office and amenities, container yard with automated container loading pods and a staff car parking area. There is also a 300m² separate pallet store located to the northeast of the container yard.
The project took some nine months to complete and is to be occupied by Open Country Dairy Ltd.
