When Synlait Milk Ltd set out to create the world’s best infant formula blending and canning facility, they chose Apollo Projects to bring that vision to life.
Engaged early under an Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) model, Apollo worked closely with Synlait from the ground up allowing considerable influence of the facility design. This design not only meet global standards but sets new ones. Our proactive approach allowed us to influence critical design elements, ensuring exceptional performance, efficiency, and hygiene.
True to Apollo’s reputation for challenging the status quo, we challenged long-standing industry norms, delivering smarter design solutions and advanced hygiene detailing without driving up costs. The result? A facility that’s a true game changer for the dairy industry.
The facility includes a five-level blending tower and adjacent cannery with a variety of specialist hygiene areas including a bag stripping area, bag tipping room, canning room, laboratory, re-closure room, changing areas and viewing gallery for clients.
