On October 10th Apollo Projects took part in the Heart Stopper Challenge to raise funds for Heart Kids Canterbury, an organisation which provides financial, emotional and practical support for Canterbury children living with heart defects.
With 3 teams plunging into an icy cold pool for five minutes, Apollo managed to raise more than $4,700 during the Challenge – a fantastic effort!
A big thank you to many of sub-contractors and consultants for their generous donations, and all the friends and families who donated! And a special thank you to our London 2012 Gold Medalists Jo Aleh and Polly Powrie (Team Jolly) for coming all the way down from Auckland for the day to take part.
