Apollo is proud to be managing the Design & Build of the first building under construction within the exciting new Waterloo Business Park development near Christchurch Airport.
The new 2600m2 chicken processing facility for Santa Rosa foods will contain a variety of specialist processing and storage areas, including raw and cooked production areas, two freezers, nine chillers and four cookers.
Construction is well underway and the specialist facility is quickly taking shape! Despite the recent weather setbacks, the project is making great progress – the foundations are complete, concrete pouring has begun, precast concrete panels are going up and structural steel is arriving on site this week.
Once complete, the processing areas will consist of a Kingspan insulated panel box within a traditional portal frame envelope, ensuring a temperature controlled and critical hygiene safe environment.
